To help teachers apply for these classroom grants, we’re hosting a live #ClassroomGrantChat Twitter Chat. During the Twitter chat, we’ll answer questions about applying for classroom grants and share our best grant writing tips.

You can view the conversation here once the Twitter chat begins, so make sure to use the hashtag “#ClassroomGrantChat” so that AdoptAClassroom.org staff and other teachers see your tweets!
The more you Tweet using the hashtag “#ClassroomGrantChat” to ask or answer questions during our live Twitter chat, the more chances you’ll have to win. Teachers can receive up to ten entries.
How to enter for the chance to win an AdoptAClassroom.org donation:
- Follow @Adopt_Classroom on Twitter.
- Join the discussion here during our #ClassroomGrantChat Twitter Chat between 7pm–9pm CT on October 21, 2021.
- During our Twitter chat, Tweet your tips and questions about applying for classroom grants. Include the hashtag “#ClassroomGrantChat” in each of your Tweets.
- Continue to Tweet your questions and tips during the Twitter chat using the hashtag “#ClassroomGrantChat” to gain additional giveaway entries for the chance to win. Limit 10 entries per teacher.

Not only will your Twitter chat Tweet enter you for the chance to win a donation, but AdoptAClassroom.org will also answer your #ClassroomGrantChat questions throughout the night. In the above example, we will share the link so you can apply for one of our upcoming classroom grants.
Other Tweets could include questions about how to make your grant application stand out, or how to overcome something with grant writing that you’re struggling with, answers to questions posed by AdoptAClassroom.org, and grant writing tips.
Not a Twitter User?
Follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We’ll post a prompt on both platforms at 7am on October 21. All educators who respond to the prompt on October 21 will receive one early entry to the #ClassroomGrantChat Twitter Chat Giveaway.
Joining the live discussion on Twitter from 7pm–9pm CT on October 21 will enter you for up to 10 additional entries, so make sure to join the Twitter discussion if you can.

HOW TO ENTER:
Follow AdoptAClassroom.org on Twitter (@Adopt_Classroom) and ask or answer questions during our #ClassroomGrantChat Twitter Chat using the hashtag “#ClassroomGrantChat” in your Tweet. Limit ten entries per Twitter account.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the #ClassroomGrantChat Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Twitter Giveaway begins on (10/21/2021) at 7 PM CT and ends on (10/21/2021) at 9 PM CT. Entries received on Twitter before the start time or after the end time will not be considered.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited K-12 school and legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
WINNER SELECTION:
A random drawing will be conducted on or about 10/22/2021 from all eligible entries received to select five Potential Winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential Winners do not need to be present at the time of the Drawing to accept the Prize. REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winners by listing their Twitter handles in a tweet. If a Potential Winner does not respond by sending a direct message on Twitter to @Adopt_Classroom with a link to their AdoptAClassroom.org classroom page or by providing their name, email address, and school name within 72 hours of the time the Notification is sent, if a Potential Winner declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
PRIZES:
We will select five Prize winners who will each be awarded one $100 donation to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page. The Prize must be accepted by the Potential Winners within 72 hours of the time the Notification is sent to receive the Prize. The Prize consists of only the items listed and AdoptAClassroom.org shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s acceptance and use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment, or refund of a prize is permitted, except by AdoptAClassroom.org, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by AdoptAClassroom.org in its sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person. The Prize consists of only the items listed. AdoptAClassroom.org shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s acceptance and use of Prize.
