It’s our first-ever AdoptAClassroom Week and we are excited to celebrate with teachers and education supporters alike.
What is AdoptAClassroom Week?
As teachers and students begin the year, they need our support. Unfortunately, educators are spending more out of pocket on their classrooms than ever before. We’ve seen a substantial increase in teacher out of pocket spending since 2015, and this trend needs to be stopped. From 2015 to 2021, teacher spending has increased by 25%.
Because the need to support teachers and their students continues to grow, we’re launching AdoptAClassroom Week to highlight the need to fund classrooms during the back-to-school season, and encourage the public to adopt a classroom. We’re celebrating AdoptAClassroom Week with a variety of classroom funding opportunities for PreK-12 teachers nationwide.

Classroom Donation Match

If you adopt a classroom during August 23 – August 24, 2021, your donation will go twice as far. We’re doubling donations dollar for dollar, up to $50 for AdoptAClassroom Week until we hit our goal of $10,000 to classrooms.

To help teachers and students start the 2021 school year off with the tools they need, AdoptAClassroom.org is donating 100, $100 school supply donations to teachers at Title 1 schools nationwide.
