Teaching STEM during COVID-19 hasn’t been easy. Teachers have had to find new ways to engage students in hands-on STEM lessons remotely, or in socially distanced classrooms.
AdoptAClassroom.org and our friends at Lenovo are bringing PreK-12 teachers together on Twitter so they can share their tips for teaching STEM and utilizing technology in 2021.
Teacher Giveaway: #TeachingSTEM2021 Twitter Chat
Join AdoptAClassroom.org and Lenovo for our live #TeachingSTEM2021 Twitter Chat on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 from 5pm – 7pm CT. Participating PreK-12 teachers will enter for the chance to receive one of five $100 AdoptAClassroom.org donations or one of two Lenovo Yoga ANC Headphones!
This Twitter chat is a conversation with our community of teachers about teaching STEM remotely or in a socially distanced classroom, using technology to teach, activities and resources that work during COVID-19, and fundraising for STEM materials. When you use our hashtag “#TeachingSTEM2021” during the live Twitter chat to ask questions or share advice on these topics, you’ll enter for the chance to receive classroom funding or a Lenovo headset.
The more you use the hashtag “#TeachingSTEM2021” to ask or answer questions, the more chances you’ll have to win.
During our Twitter chat, AdoptAClassroom.org will pose questions about teaching STEM during COVID-19, and share helpful tips and questions tweeted by teachers who include the hashtag. We’ll also give tips throughout the night on fundraising for STEM supplies. If you have any fundraising questions for us, ask us during our Twitter chat and we’ll help you out!

Teaching STEM Giveaway Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
Follow AdoptAClassroom.org on Twitter (@Adopt_Classroom) and ask or answer questions about teaching STEM during our #TeachingSTEM2021 Twitter Chat using the hashtag “#TeachingSTEM2021.” Limit five entries per Twitter account. Answer the #TeachingSTEM2021 question posed on AdoptAClassroom.org’s Facebook and Instagram account to receive an additional entry. Limit one entry per Facebook and Instagram account.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the #TeachingSTEM2021 Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Twitter Giveaway begins on (2/11/2021) at 5 PM CT and ends on (2/11/2021) at 7 PM CT. Entries received on Twitter before the start time or after the end time will not be considered.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited K-12 school and legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
WINNER SELECTION:
A random drawing will be conducted on or about 2/12/2021 from all eligible entries received to select seven Potential Winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential Winners do not need to be present at the time of the Drawing to accept the Prize.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winners by listing their Twitter handles in a tweet. If a Potential Winner does not respond by sending a direct message on Twitter to @Adopt_Classroom with a link to their AdoptAClassroom.org classroom page or by providing their name, email address, and school name within 72 hours of the time the Notification is sent, if a Potential Winner declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
PRIZES:
We will select five Prize winners who will each be awarded one $100 donation to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Account, and we will select two Prize winners who will each be awarded one Lenovo Yoga ANC Headset. The Prize consists of only the items listed and AdoptAClassroom.org shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment, or refund of a prize is permitted, except by AdoptAClassroom.org, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by AdoptAClassroom.org in its sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person.
