AdoptAClassroom.org works with nearly 30 education and supply vendors to support your needs. But how do those supplies get to you? Here is your step-by-step guide to ordering school supplies with your AdoptAClassroom.org funds!
2. Click “Go To Shop” from the teacher/school admin dashboard.
Note: if you see a popup that says “Please create your classroom page before shopping,” you can learn how to create your classroom page here (teachers) or here (school administrators)
3. There are two ways to shop so you can start ordering school supplies:
a. Shop with affiliated vendors (yellow box) by clicking on their logos. You can then shop on each of their websites. Search or browse for what you’re looking for, and check out through their site (click “transfer cart” or “return to requisition”) to add items to your Adoptaclassroom.org shopping cart.
b. Shop in the AdoptAClassroom.org Marketplace (red box), which hosts 20+ vendors all in one place. You can search by typing a keyword or browsing by vendor/category.
4. As you add items to your cart from different vendors, they will all appear in your cart. You can review what is in your cart at any time by clicking on the cart symbol.
5. Once you’ve found what you’re looking for, click on the cart to view what you are ordering. When you are sure of what you’d like to order, click “proceed to checkout.”
6. Shipping fees will be calculated on this page. To learn more about how to save on shipping, see our blog post here. You’ll be asked to verify your shipping address. If your school isn’t able to receive shipments during normal business hours, contact [email protected] to inquire about shipping options for extenuating circumstances.
7. Next, confirm the amount that will be removed from your AdoptAClassroom.org account.
8. You’ll be asked to review your order one last time before submitting it. Once your order is submitted, you will see a confirmation screen that your order was submitted.

How long does shipping take?
Each of our vendors utilize different shipping methods and timelines. You can generally expect your order in 1-2 weeks.
