This giveaway has concluded. Visit our Teacher Funding Opportunities page to learn more about current and upcoming educator funding opportunities from AdoptAClassroom.org.

Are you a K-12 teacher or principal looking for teaching tools, tips, and resources to help create equity in your school or classroom? Do you have classroom inclusion tips that you can share with your fellow educators? Join AdoptAClassroom.org for our #InclusiveEducators2020 Twitter Party on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at 7pm – 9pm CT to ask questions about inclusive classrooms, or to give advice on creating equity in education!

Participating educators, who follow @Adopt_Classroom on Twitter, will enter for the chance to win $250 for school supplies on AdoptAClassroom.org!

$750 Giveaway: #InclusiveEducators2020 Twitter Party

To enter, use our hashtag “#InclusiveEducators2020” during the Twitter Party to ask a question or answer another educator’s question on the topic of classroom inclusion. An inclusive classroom addresses inequity in education on the basis of ability, race, ethnicity, family background, sexual and gender identity, or any personal or social circumstances.

The more you use the hashtag to ask or answer questions, the more chances you’ll have to win!

Building a Community of Inclusive Educators

Creating equity in education starts in the individual classroom. Not every educator knows how to create a classroom environment that’s inclusive for ALL students, but there’s a community of educators who want to help each other continue to learn and succeed!

Through the #InclusiveEducators2020 Twitter party, we hope to connect educators across the country who can help share tips for creating equity in education. Whether you’re an educator who has classroom tips or questions about diverse books, support for LGBTQ students, special education resources, or any other topic that tackles classroom inequity, this Twitter party is for you!

AdoptAClassroom.org Inclusive Classroom Fundraising and Grant Writing Tips

Even if you don’t have a specific question for us or your fellow educators, you can still join the party! Throughout the night, we’ll be posting inclusive classroom fundraising tips that will get you more attention from donors, and help you write a stronger grant application.

Now through March 20, 2020, teachers and principals at K-12 public, private, or charter schools can apply for $1,000 inclusive classroom grants through the AdoptAClassroom.org Inclusive Classroom Fund, sponsored by LakiKid.

Ask us your Inclusive Classroom grant writing questions during our Twitter party, including “#InclusiveEducators2020,” and AdoptAClassroom.org staff members will answer your questions. This is a great time to get advice from staff members who will be reviewing Inclusive Classroom grant applications!
