91% of teachers said that flexible funding from organizations like AdoptAClassroom.org helps them to stay in the profession.
So this Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re asking communities to Stand Up For Teachers by supporting their classrooms. To make teachers’ fundraising efforts go twice as far, we will also be DOUBLING donations made to PreK-12 classroom pages on AdoptAClassroom.org, up to $100*.
Matching begins at 10 a.m. EST on Monday, May 6, 2024, and ends on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 6 p.m. EST or when we hit our goal of matching $20,000.

Teachers and other certified educators who update their classroom page to include the hashtag #StandUp4Teachers before May 10, 2024, will automatically be entered to win one of 25 $100 classroom donations on AdoptAClassroom.org! Check out the full details and eligibility criteria.
Guidelines to Qualify for AdoptAClassroom.org’s Donation Match
Donations must be processed on 5/6/2024 or 5/7/2024 as part of the first $20,000 in matched teacher donations. Mailed checks and pledges are not eligible for this match. Matching donations will be disbursed within a week to teachers’ AdoptAClassroom.org account.
In the case of monthly donations, AdoptAClassroom.org will match the first donation on 5/6/2024 or 5/7/2024, up to $100, but not the following monthly gifts.
To support as many classrooms as possible:
- If a teacher donates to their own page, the donation is not eligible for a match
- Unique donations will be matched up to a maximum of $100 until we reach our overall goal of $20,000
- If an individual makes 1+ donation(s) to different teachers, all donations will be matched
- If an individual makes 1+ donation(s) to the same teacher, only one donation will be matched
- If a teacher receives 1+ donation(s) from different donors, all donations will be matched
- If a donation is made on any website other than AdoptAClassroom.org, the donation is not eligible for a match
