Since March 2020, disruptions caused by COVID-19 have resulted in an education crisis. Teachers don’t have the resources they need to support students with higher mental health needs and learning loss due to the pandemic.
At AdoptAClassroom.org, we believe that teachers deserve better resources, better support, and better tools to help their students thrive in the classroom. Teachers are struggling, but we can help.
To support teachers this Teacher Appreciation Week, May 2-5, 2022, we’re offering several funding opportunities. To be eligible for these opportunities, teachers must be registered on AdoptAClassroom.org.
Teacher Appreciation Week Funding Opportunities
$10,000 Classroom Donation Match

We’re matching donations made to AdoptAClassroom.org classroom pages on May 2 through May 3, 2022. Donations are matched up to $50. The match ends at 5pm CT, or until we meet our goal of matching $10,000 in classroom donations.
We can’t meet our goal of matching $10,000 in donations to teachers without the support of generous donors. When you make a donation during our match, your funds go twice as far.
Donation Match Guidelines
To support as many classrooms as possible:
- If a teacher donates to their own page, the donation is not eligible for a match
- Unique donations will be matched up to a maximum of $50 until we reach our overall goal of $10,000.
- If an individual makes 1+ donation(s) to different teachers, all donations will be matched
- If an individual makes 1+ donation(s) to the same teacher, only one donation will be matched
- If a teacher receives 1+ donation(s) from different donors, all donations will be matched
- If a donation is made on any website other than AdoptAClassroom.org, the donation is not eligible for a match

Teachers who update their AdoptAClassroom.org classroom page with the hashtag “#TeachersDeserveBetter” are automatically entered for the chance to win 1 of 10 $300 classroom donations.
