This back-to-school season, Burlington has partnered with AdoptAClassroom.org for the sixth consecutive year to raise funds for teachers nationwide.
Now through August 30th, you can help fulfill teachers’ back-to-school shopping lists by finding a Burlington store near you and rounding up at check-out. Your donation will help teachers purchase the teaching tools they need to support their students.
To kick off this year’s fundraiser, Burlington surprised five unsuspecting teachers with a boxful of classroom essentials to start the school year off strong.
The retailer partnered with five teacher influencers, each given the opportunity to surprise a deserving teacher at their school. The selected teachers received glue sticks, fidgets, pens, pencils, paper and more. These supplies are items teachers typically purchase with their own money to ensure their students are equipped to participate in the classroom.
Check out the below videos and watch as the astonished teachers expressed their gratitude.
That’s not all!
Burlington also surprised each of the five teachers’ schools with a $10,000 donation through AdoptAClassroom.org! Now all of the teachers at the five schools will have funds to purchase classroom supplies for the new school year.
You can provide teachers with the classroom supplies they need when you visit your local Burlington store and round up at checkout, now through August 30th.
