2025 Register Round-Up July 1 - August 1, 2025 Skechers & AdoptAClassroom.org logos

Skechers Sets Students Up for Success, On and Off the Court

From July 1 to August 31, Skechers invites customers to round up their in-store purchases to donate to AdoptAClassroom.org® at their store locations nationwide.

The money raised at checkout will support our Inclusive Classroom Fund and help sustain athletics programs in high-needs schools.

Since 2021, Skechers has raised more than $500,000 for AdoptAClassroom.org to ensure classrooms and gymnasiums receive the supplies students need.

Skechers Meets Students’ Needs, No Matter The Circumstances

Education looks different for every student, and teachers are constantly adapting to meet a variety of needs in the classroom. This comes with a steep price tag for educators.

The average teacher spends $895 out of pocket each year on essential learning materials for their students.

A portion of Skechers’ raised funds in July will support our Inclusive Classroom Fund, helping teachers create more equitable and student-centered learning environments without dipping into their own pockets.

When customers donate at checkout in July, they’re also helping AdoptAClassroom.org ensure teachers and schools have the supplies they need to keep kids learning when tragedy strikes.

After the 2023 Maui fires, Skechers donated $25,000 to Lahaina Intermediate School. This generous gift did more than provide funds for teachers to purchase new classroom materials.

“This donation brings us one step closer to a sense of normalcy and recovery after the wildfires, providing hope and opportunity for our students as we work together to rebuild our school community.”

– Stacy, principal at Lahaina Intermediate School

In August, Skechers invites its customers to join the brand in ensuring that no student athlete has to miss a game because they can’t afford gear. Proceeds from register round-ups during August will support physical education in high-needs schools.

Last year, Skechers fit every member of the Stephen F. Austin High School junior varsity and varsity boys’ and girls’ soccer programs with brand-new cleats in time for kickoff. The company also made a generous $20,000 donation to support the high school’s athletics programming.

“A donation like this helps us get students access to opportunities they normally wouldn’t get to, like tournaments, equipment, or uniforms. Every face that I saw today had a big, shiny smile, and that just shows me that they highly appreciate all the efforts and the partnership that we have.”

– Lucio, principal at Stephen F. Austin High School
