Our friends at VTech and LeapFrog® have always supported parents and teachers with the resources they need to keep kids busy and learning while at home. Now they launched the #LearnThroughThis campaign, to provide free online educational activities, expert advice, and more, so learning doesn’t stop.
As part of the initiative, VTech is donating to educators so they have the funds they need to be successful with distance learning. To encourage others to do the same, VTech matched, dollar-for-dollar, donations made to the AdoptAClassroom.org COVID-19 Disaster Relief Fund between March 31 and April 30, 2020. In total VTech gifted $50,000!
We want to thank VTech, and all of the donors who gave to our COVID-19 Disaster Relief Fund, for helping us support more teachers and students during this unprecedented time.
The funds will be disbursed to under-served teachers and schools impacted by COVID-19, to support educators and their students who are faced with the challenge of recreating the classroom from home. AdoptAClassroom.org is working directly with educators, schools, and vendor partners to ensure more students in need have the tools necessary to learn from home, because learning can’t stop.
