Give to Your Favorite Classroom on #GivingTuesday and We’ll Match It!

We’re getting in the holiday spirit! At that means giving to classrooms in need.

Our goal is to adopt 100 classrooms on Giving Tuesday. To make it even better for your favorite teacher, the first 100 donors on Giving Tuesday (December 1st) will have their donation matched up to $50 sponsored by Lane Bryant.

Do you need another reason to give on December 1st? Here are three.

1. Your donation is the best teacher gift ever.

Teachers care about their students so much that they spend on average $500 a year on school supplies. When you support them on, they can purchase whatever they need to finish this school year right. Even better, when you give this holiday season, you can download a card to give your teacher to notify them of your gift.

2. You can give a loved one something they actually want for the holidays.

In a survey by the Red Cross, 79% of Americans said they would rather have a charitable donation in their honor than a gift they wouldn’t use. When you give to, you can download a card to notify a loved one of your donation. Our team would also be happy to send a card on your behalf when you email us.

3. You make an immediate impact on students.

When you give, teachers can order supplies that day. Students will receive the materials they need to learn, dream, and succeed. Your teacher will report back the classroom’s progress every time they spend your funds.

Bonus: All donations on are tax-deductible because we are a non-profit organization!

We hope you found at least one reason to give on Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Remember, if yours is one of the first 100 donations, Lane Bryant will match your gift up to $50. That’s a lot of pencils!

Can’t give this year? That’s OK! Email your friends about your favorite teacher’s page. Share our Facebook or Twitter pages using the hashtag #GivingTuesday. Every little bit helps to give teachers a big hand this holiday.
