Employee Engagement Programs
Thrivent: Employee Donation Match
Thrivent selected AdoptAClassroom.org as their nonprofit partner for their annual employee holiday fundraiser. Through AdoptAClassroom.org Spotlight Funds, the Thrivent workforce employees were able to choose the specific subject or greatest need to donate to based on their own individual interests and passions.
The funds donated provided teachers with supply grants to better equip their classrooms and students. In the spirit of holiday giving, Thrivent double-matched each donation made by their workforce.
Zuora: Employee Fundraising Competition
Zuora partnered with AdoptAClassroom.org to support teachers and schools affected by California wildfires. As part of their fundraiser to support classrooms, Zuora employees set up teams to see who could raise the most.

Subaru: Classroom Supply Kit Program
Subaru wanted to add an employee engagement element to their existing Subaru Loves Learning program with AdoptAClassroom.org. Together, we created a classroom supply kitting program for Subaru’s retailers across the country.
We curated a list of teachers’ most-used supplies to be included in each kit. Retailers across the country set up their showrooms with Subaru Loves Learning “Classroom Supply Kitting Stations.” In assembly-line fashion, employees pitched in to pack up kits for their local high-needs schools.
Teams of employees personally delivered the kits to their neighborhood schools. Teachers were surprised and delighted with the abundance of new classroom materials.
