Enriching Relationships
My class and I were the grateful recipients of a generous Adopt-A-Classroom donation. We were able to purchase many items that we would not have been able to acquire, such as much needed math manipulatives, a new overhead screen, student white boards and much more. The friendship we’ve formed with our classroom donors has been warmly enriching.

Creating a Ripple in the Pond
One day, I received an unexpected e-mail. Our classroom had been adopted by an amazing donor in Pennsylvania, Constance Lewis. Little did I know just how big an impact Adopt-A-Classroom would make. When Constance adopted us, she did so for the long haul. Thank you, Adopt-A-Classroom...you are the pebble that created a ripple in the pond.

The Science Behind Understanding
My class has benefited so much from the Adopt-A-Classroom program.  We have received plenty of products that we use on a daily basis to help in science class such as measuring tools, safety tools (goggles), and various math manipulatives. These products have enabled my students to get a clearer understanding of the concepts I have taught.

A Class Library Becomes the Hot Spot
My classroom was adopted by Jones New York and it definitely impacted my students this year.  My students would eagerly want to go read at the library which was now full of interesting books that they enjoyed and comfortable bean bag chairs that made their reading time cozy as well. This was a sure success.

A Holiday to Remember
My students were very excited when we made picture frames for Christmas. They decorated them with the art materials purchased with the donations: colorful crayons, paint, decorations for the many projects we had planned for the year. The students were able to explore many different art techniques and apply them to their projects.
