School arts programs are underfunded and need supplies.
When schools face budget cuts, arts programs are often the first to be eliminated. High-needs schools are left with understaffed and underfunded art and music teachers who don’t have the resources to support hundreds of students’ art education. Art supplies are used up quickly by a school full of students and need to be replaced regularly.
