How we help our nation’s students in need:
Teachers spend an average of $740 a year of their own money on classroom supplies. Since 1998, we’ve connected donors to teachers with grants, sponsorship, and crowdfunding.
New in 2019, our fundraising platform is now available to public, private, and charter schools across the country. Schools are also eligible for our grants and sponsorship funding.
Power your passion for a subject or donate to where it’s needed most. Registered teachers and schools are invited to apply for Spotlight Fund grants.
California Wildfires Classroom Relief Fund
The National Weather Service is forecasting a high risk for more fires through 2019. You can be on the front lines of the education relief effort. Funds raised will be disbursed to teachers and schools in communities that were impacted by wildfires to rebuild their classrooms and support their students as quickly as we can.

Dr. Hines shares AdoptAClassroom.org’s commitment to teachers and children, particularly in under-served schools. She currently serves as President of the COMMON Ground Foundation and a member of both the Chicago Board of Education and the Obama Foundation.
