Welcome to AdoptAClassroom.org
Giving teachers the tools to educate our children starts with making it easy for members of the community to provide funding and support. Success happens one classroom, and one teacher, at a time.

This is my 17th year as Librarian at my Voc./Tech High School. Each year I struggle to be able to supply the students with up-to-date books and databases to meet their classroom research papers and projects. Books for Voc./Tech projects get more expensive every year. I am also on a yearly mission to improve literacy in our school by updating a small collection of high interest books for our reluctant readers which are significant in numbers. (my budget has not kept pace with costs) We supply free, paper, rulers calculators, pencils, pens, markers, poster board, glue sticks etc. for projects and homework assistance. The whole school uses the library`s resources constantly. We are the heart and hub of the school. I would like funding to assist in these areas listed but would also like to expand our computer availability by providing laptops for students to use throughout the library but also to borrow when needed at home. (many of our students still do not own computers)
