Giving teachers the tools to educate our children starts with making it easy for members of the community to provide funding and support. Success happens one classroom, and one teacher, at a time.

Hi, I am Mrs. Aisola and I am a third grade teacher at Dr. Martin Luther King Charter School in New Orleans, Louisiana. My school is located in the lower ninth ward which was hardest hit by Hurricane Katrina. Many parents as well as teachers are still repairing their homes, so it is very difficult to purchase school supplies. I would be very greatful to receive any school supplies to enhance the learning in my class. These are the following supplies that are needed: scissors, glue, highlighters, pencils, pencil sharpener, laptop computer, listening centers, dry erase markers, copy paper ( white and multicolor), classroom sets of paper back reading books(third grade level),crayons, markers, assorted felt sheets, pocket chart stands, educational software, computer ink (Dell 1700/1710)and overhead math manipulatives. Thank you very much!!!!!
