Welcome to AdoptAClassroom.org
Giving teachers the tools to educate our children starts with making it easy for members of the community to provide funding and support. Success happens one classroom, and one teacher, at a time.

I will be teaching a first grade class consisting of a culturally and socio economically diverse student body. Being new to the profession and my very first classroom, I am in need of any and all materials namely books for a classroon library. First grade focuses on the development of necessary skills for reading, comprehension and information retetention. Having a variety of print materials and genres available for the students enables me to support these skills and foster a life long love of reading. Additionally, I am in need of math manipulatives for counting, geometry, and measuring. These will allow me to provide a hands on learning expereince to meet the needs of all learners. Other items such as wall decorations, bulletin boards, flip chart paper, centers, floor rugs, and other general materials will help me to create a positive and comfortable learning environment for my studnets. Your donation will directly benefit the students and help them and myself have a successful first grade year. I am grateful and appreciatve of any contribution. Thank you.
