Welcome to AdoptAClassroom.org
Giving teachers the tools to educate our children starts with making it easy for members of the community to provide funding and support. Success happens one classroom, and one teacher, at a time.

I am fortunate to be a teacher in a small, quaint New England town in western Massachusetts. The students in my classroom are enthusiastic fourth graders that deserve a quality education which they are getting but at times supplies that we need to teach our curriculum are scarce. As teachers we try to be as creative as we can to meet the needs of our children but sometimes just getting the basic supplies we need to effectively run our classrooms is a struggle. The community of Monson has a population of 8,560 people and was hit by a devastating EF-3 tornado on June 1st, 2011. With a small budget to begin with, our budgets being cut yearly and a natural disaster effecting our town and schools it has become increasingly difficult to obtain the materials needed for our classrooms. I try to provide what I can and my families contribute the basic tissues, glue sticks, Clorox wipes etc. but the larger items such as a dry erase easel, working wall clocks, electric pencil sharpeners, non-fiction books for our classroom library are just not possible. Any donations to classroom 415 would be greatly appreciated!
