Welcome to AdoptAClassroom.org
Giving teachers the tools to educate our children starts with making it easy for members of the community to provide funding and support. Success happens one classroom, and one teacher, at a time.

I am blessed to teach at a school where I am truly needed. I have had opportunities to teach at schools that have more resources both financially and with parental involvement. However, there is no other place I would rather be. I wake up knowing that I can make a difference. Our students have many opportunities to learn outside of our normal day. We have students who come in before school and after school for extra help with wonderful volunteers and tutors from our community. Even with all of these volunteers, we are still lacking in some of the technology that other schools have access to at home and at school. Students are facinated with technology and it is my new mission to try and get them more expereience with it. Indiana is currently trying to implement our state testing being taken on computers instead of the old pencil and paper type of test. I see this as being a negative for my students who dont have as much practice with computers as some other corporations in our state. I am trying to keep my students up to the same level of learning as schools with many more resources available. Any help I can get to purchase things for my students would be so appreciated!
