I teach special needs children in grades Pre-K to First grade. We have many different needs. The most prevalent need is to help my students practice what they learn. This includes hands on activities, educational computer games, and interactive learning opportunities. The more the students can have these types of opportunities, the more they will be able to retain and recall information that is taught. It also makes learning fun and meaningful. The more diverse learning experiences I can give to them, using different types of materials, the more attentive, purposeful and engaged the students will be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
