The area that our school is located has been dramatically effected by the loss of jobs within our area. I find it quite difficult for several of our parents to be able to provide school supplies for their children. Many are struggling to provide food for their families let alone purchase supplies to begin school. I teach 8th grade Physical Science, which is very hands-on and student oriented. It becomes very difficult for me to purchase all of the materials necessary to ensure student success. However, I do purchase materials throughout the entire summer for my students. A donation would be greatly appreciated by my middle school students. I also coach three teams within our building: Science Olympiad, LegoLeague, and Beta Club. With your assistance, I would be able to provide more assistance to ensure their success.
