Our general level integrated science class needs additional funding for a project that will entail the refurbishing of an existing greenhouse and composter at our school. We will be using these in tandem to create a student run Produce Stand, the proceeds of which will be used to purchase further supplies. The studetns will grow and sell seasonal fruits and vegetables and Pointsettias for the holidays.This will give the general students a `real world` feel and will break the traditional method of delivering instruction to which they are accustomed to failing from. I believe that this experience will help the general students in all aspects of their educational careers.
