	I teach IB and AP biology to 11th and 12th grade students at Vanguard High School in Ocala, Florida. These are advanced, college prep courses. I would like to acquire probeware, preferably Vernier, for advanced lab work. I feel my students should be exposed to this type of technology that is available today in college and professional lab situations. Many of my students have plans to be science and engineering majors in college. In addtion, I have a need for some hot plates, balances, and stereomicroscopes. Glassware, enzymes, and certain chemicals are also needed to run these labs. My students will use this equipment for typical group type lab work and IA lab work. IA or internally assessed IB labs are individual experiences that the student must design and carry out on their own. The probeware would open up another avenue for investigation that these students could utilize.
