Our students are one of a kind and our class is also unique because we have two teachers! Mrs. Rupp teaches in the morning and Mrs. Humphrey takes over in the afternoon. A donation would help our classroom because over half of our school population is economically disadvantaged and our building is over 50 years old. It could provide additional supplies for students who cannot afford them, go towards purchasing project materials or manipulatives to make learning more hands-on, or help cover costs of a field trip so we can learn from the community around us!

Hanshew Middle School
This year I am teaching a literacy block. I teach both Reading and Language Arts classes. My biggest need right now is technology for my classroom! Hanshew Middle School is technology poor. Many middle schools in our district have been remodeled, and with the remodel came new technology. With several new schools being built, Hanshew is not on any list to have improvements to our building, nor are we able to get any of the technology that is being given to these other schools. So, if you find it in your heart to adopt my classroom, my students and I would greatly appreciate any help with bringing technology to our classroom. We want to keep up with the other schools when it comes to technology. I believe that with some additional technology in each classroom, especially mine, students would have a greater educational experience and would bridge the gap in our LA test scores.
Thank You!
