We are a Title I school located in a small town just East of Salina. Last year our student population consisted of nearly 50% of at risk children. Most of those students cannot afford basic school supplies. As the Title I teacher and MTSS (Multi-Tier Systems of Support) director, my staff and I service a most of these students for reading and/or math. As you may already know, schools are taking a big cuts in funding, so those things we could provide in the past for these students are not getting purchased anymore. It would be so wonderful to be able to purchase basic supplies to meet the needs of the students in our program.
