I have between 20-25 students in my classroom each year. Kindergarten children need alot of hands on materials for their academic and motor skill development.I love this grade level because of creative hands-on fun ideas that motivate the children. In the summer I go to garage sales to find craft items to purchase for classroom lessons. So,with a huge Thank You,I will be able to go and purchase craft materials needed for an imaginative, successful school year!

I believe that it is important to be up-to-date with todays modern world technology. It is beneficial for the students to have hands-on use with computers, ipads, ipods, incorporated into their lessons. Technology enhances the lessons that I teach and the children seem more motivated to learn.

I have a mixed variety of students that range from low to high. Each student has different learning needs, but they all equally have the same positive outlook on how they love to learn. We incorporate fun and creativity on a daily basis and always strive to be the best!

Center Middle School
I was transferred to the middle school from elementary school this year and I want my students to have the best education possoble. The classroom does not have much in the way of supplies for the children to learn and with the money from this grant, I would be buying hands on learning materials to encourage reading for my students. I am currently teaching in a multihandicapped classroom with 7 incredible boys, who have a HUGE desire to learn. Please help me to fulfill this desire to learn through helping me get them materials to teach them to read.
