Thank you for taking the time to look at my adopt-a-classroom page! My 5th graders and I are in need of additional funding to cover various materials in the class. Donations will go towards everything from a digital projector to display computer images (power point, internet, etc) to expo markers and educational enforcement materials. The 26 fabulous 5th graders that I teach need basic resources like protractors and calculators to complete their math curriculum and unfortunately not enough has been provided by our district for each student. Furthermore, many of my students need supplemental literacy materials such as phonics games and books to help them either reach grade level or be challenged beyond grade level. Many of the science projects and experiments I would like to do will need additional resources as well. As you can see, any donation, no matter how small will make a huge impact on my classroom and my students. Thank you for your generosity at this time. My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Happy Learning!

Welcome to Mr. Campanas Adopt a Classroom page! I teach 3rd grade students from very diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of abilities, strengths, interests and challenges. I value incorporating art, music and movement into my classroom and I especially enjoy teaching science. Your donation to my classroom will be used for field trips, classroom supplies (including current, high-interest books) and student supplies. Some additional wish list items I hope to fund through Adopt a Classroom are new cabinets to better organize my room and a projector to connect to a laptop. Thank you so much for your support!

I need to replenish my science kit, the rocks and minerals. The rocks are missing from the kit to do the actual hands on science (scratch test, calcite quest). I also need to purchase vials, measuring tape, syringes, science trays, and etc. There is barely anything in the science kits for me to teach with.

I teach the most amazing group of third graders! I am certain that they are a very special bunch of kids, and I am honored to spend my days with them. I like to try to "trick" them into learning by making it as hands on as possible, which can be difficult seeing as my school gives us ZERO money for supplies. There are so many things that I would like to do with them, that will be possible through this program! Thank you so much for your time and interest! You are investing in the future.

I teach in a Title 1 school. The majority of my students are of Hispanic or Filippino ethnicity from a low socio-economic background. To differentiate instruction to meet their needs, I need to search for videos, leveled books, and field trip experiences to help with their academic growth. Our school district is financially suffering from declining enrollment and therefore provides us with little extra in the way of enrichment opportunities for our students. As a teacher I need to find ways to enhance my curriculum. If we had a laptop computer I would be able to access math, science, & language arts material related to our curriculum & texts used in class.
