I teach 9th grade general English students at Bella Vista High School. Over the past several years the school and district have provided virtually no funds for the purchase of text books, novels actually. Since all five of my classes are at the same level, and few novel selections have enough books for more than two or three classes, my students are extremely limited and sometimes have to make do with a class set. This means they have no opportunity to study at home, a frustrating handicap. I'm trying to purchase seventy more copies of Ursula K. LeGuin's The Wizard of Earthsea so that they will all have an equal chance to cover the material required and not be slowed by restrictions due to too few copies of the novels offered at this school.
Donors Choose/Adopt A Classroom does not seem to offer The Wizard of Earthsea on its shopping sites, so I'm asking anyone who is willing to send new or used copies directly to my home address or in care of me at Bella Vista High School. (Thrift Books has the best prices for used books.)
Thank you for your time and consideration of my request.

PS I did not include a photo of any of my students since that requires permission from parents, and it is currently spring break.

We are a new school, that lacks many resources for Non-fiction reading for our students. Would like to purchase scholastic readers ($5 per student, $125 for class) for our classroom. Each student will receive a reader for each week. We are an exciting group of 1st graders who love to learn! Our class is made up of several autistic students, and many other wonderful students who support each other in learning. Thank you for your support in helping us learn!
