I would like to order Scholastic News Magazine for my class. This magazine promotes reading fluency and social awareness through its many articles. It includes global news, debate material, vocabulary building and other academic support. In the last year it has added an interactive component that can be used with the whiteboard technology in the classroom. The students are very motivated to discover the contents of the magazine. I have paid for this out of my pocket in the past, but is has been increasingly difficult to do so. The content of the magazine really allows students to make connections across the curriculum that they might otherwise miss. It also stimulates critical thinking, a very necessary skill for todays world. Thank you for considering my request.
