We at West are striving to provide science education students with as many hands-on experiments as possible. We are in a rural-ish area of beautiful Western Colorado, where science is everywhere around our lives. Students take what they know and love about the area and are able to put to great use the power of their brains! As a science teacher, I know that students learn by doing. So Adopting our Classroom would mean that students are able to have the necessary materials to better test their generously curious teenage minds even more. Throughout the year, students take part in several missions of learning and in doing so are able to explore, investigate, and practice what those in the science world do best, by doing REAL SCIENCE, through hands-on, inquiry based learning where students remember why learning is important!
