I teach in a Montessori charter school which has a three year range in the class (1st,2nd, and 3rd graders). My students are highly interested in science and we would like to use our outdoor classroom more throughout the year. I want to help develop a further interest in science, math, and technology. I want to keep true to Montessoris vision of hands on learning and to encourage my students to explore the world around them, question things they do not understand, and gather information so they can then share their findings with their peers- thus becoming the teacher.
