I teach at a school in northern Utah. We have some computer labs at our school, but I do not have access to the labs on a daily basis. I would like to purchase an ipad for students to have daily access to the internet. I would like to assign a student to the ipad each day and call them the Resident Historian for the day. When it is their turn to use the ipad, they will answer any questions that other students have that the teacher cant answer. This will give the students an opportunity to use technology to conduct research. The ipad will also be used in group projects as an additional resourse besides the traditional textbooks and atlases.
