I teach in a school with a high free and reduced lunch count. This generally ties in with greater challenges with learning. We have a high percentage of hispanic students who often struggle with the language and quickly fall behind in their reading. This is also an area where many students find the classroom to be their highest level of security in their life. I'd like to meet their needs as accurately as I can. Thank You.
