~The aim of this is to raise hearing pupils’ deaf awareness, and facilitate the social inclusion of deaf children. By particpating in suggested activities, hearing pupils will increase their knowledge of deafness and improve their ability to communicate effectively with their deaf peers. It is vital that their hearing friends learn how to be deaf aware ~Because deafness is a low incidence disability, many teachers don't have a strong knowledge about learners who are deaf or hearing impaired. To make sure these students who are deaf receive the quality education they deserve, educators need to understand the learning needs of these students. With this understanding, educators can work to create a new generation of highly literate students who are deaf or hearing impaired.
