All my students are from military families. The student population is culturally diverse. Unfortunately, as a first year teacher I do not have many books in my classroom library yet. Picture books and chapter book series such as Junie B. Jones, Magic Tree House, etc. would greatly help and offer my students a variety of literary materials that fit their interests and reading level. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

5th Grade
Seitz Elementary
It is my first year of teaching. I never thought this would ever happen, but I am currently a 5th grade teacher. I teach at a school with 680 students. There are 40 students from two different classes that I teach throughout the day. I teach Reading, Social Studies, and Writing. I was always told you put so much of your own money into your classroom. I have now realized they are exactly right. There's so much that is needed to allow my students the opportunities they deserve. I know they have so much potential to be successful as a student and as an individual, and I want to do whatever it takes to help get them there. Any additional help for my students would be incredible.
