I teach in a large elementary school with over 500 students, including a large number of low SES children. Our school has a library that we visit once a week. I am looking for funding to increase my classroom library so that students can have access to quality literature on a daily basis. Thanks!

I work in an elementary school that is currently out of room to expand, has a majority of low income families, and a large need for resources that will aid in student advancement. In my classroom I currently have 23 students and will never have less than 20. I teach students who are anywhere from two levels below to two levels above in their academics. This makes it very difficult to reach each student. The thing that would help my classroom a great deal would be more technology. Our county has access to many programs that support reading, math, science, and many other areas. The problem is that our school has one computer lab that has to be shared between each classroom. There is not enough time available in our lab to use these programs effectivly. I currently have two computers in my classroom, but having a computer or Ipad or similar device for each student, or even just a few more, would help our cause a great deal.
