I am a Kindergarten teacher in a high poverty school in Mississippi. We have an older gym/auditorium, and there are no chairs for seating on the floor, only the bleachers. When we have school wide functions, the students have to carry their own chairs from the classroom to the auditorium, which can be quite hectic, especially with little students! We really need some economical chairs that can be stacked and stored in the auditorium for convenience. We have approximately 300 K-6 elementary students, and about 50 Headstart students. At our functions, students are required to sit on the floor in their own chairs, while parents and other guests are seated on the bleachers. Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated by all school personnel, students, and family members!
