I teach Geometry and AP World History at Collins High School. Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic inner city homes. I would use your donation to create an engaging interactive classroom. My goal is to purchase a classroom Jeopardy game that can be played on my Promethean Board. Paper and pencil assessments are not enough anymore. Teachers need engaging assessment tools that help keep students motivated and an active participants in their classroom.

I have 5 students in my classroom at this time. One has Angelman Syndrome, 2 are Autistic (with other disabilities), 2 are Intellectually Disabled (ID). One of the students who is ID is physically impaired. Only 2 of my students are verbal. One has a talker at this time. I have found that they are very fond of technology. They enjoy computers, tablets(my personal tablet) and other items we get a chance to use. Any donations would be gratefully appreciated as funding is very limited at this time. I only have two computers for the students to use. As a special needs classroom, we are always trying different things to promote learning.
Thank you
