This is only my third year of teaching, so I do not have a vast supply of materials or books that have built up over the years. I have been trying to slowly build up my classroom library because the more the students have to read, the better readers they will become. I am teaching in a low income area and money is tight for everyone. Many of my students do not have access to materials at home. Most of what is needed in my classroom is bought by me. This year I moved from a first grade classroom to a fourth grade classroom. I am now teaching math and science. Most of the materials that I have accumulated over the past two years is not on the forth grade level and can not be used in my room. Anything that is donated to my classroom will be used to benefit my students and will be greatly appreciated.
