This school is rural with students ranging from 1st grade through 6th grade. We will need material such as hands-on science material (life cycle posters and books). Any science material will be beneficial to my classroom. Social Studies posters and other material to help them will be useful. We can use math materials such as: units, rods, and flats to teach the younger students about numbers. I also feel any software for computers: Math Munchers/ Reading Munchers or other software to allow the students to focus and reinforce the skills being taught. For reading, I feel the reading linking word logs are a great need in a classroom especially to build young readers vocabulary. Any and all help is appreciated in order to cover the skills in school.
