DC Burtraw

My students and I are in a Spanish Immersion program that has been in place at our school for five years. It is the only program of its kind in our district. We are half English-only speakers and half bilingual Spanish/English or Spanish-only students. The main goals of the program are for the students to develop bi-literacy and an understanding of, and sensitivity to other cultures. We are located in a remote mountain area. The closest stores for purchasing resources are an hour and a half away. Spanish trade books and teacher resource books, and general classroom materials would be truly appreciated enhancements to our program. Thanks!
