I teach a bilingual kindergarten at an economically disadvantaged school. My students come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. I would like to explore and incorporate those backgrounds in to my classroom. To be able to do this I require multicultural books, posters, and art supplies. I believe that by seeing themselves and their culture represented with in the classroom my students will take a more active role in their learning and hopefully be more enthusiastic about school.
