I teach five periods per day with approximately 25 students per period. That`s a total of 125 students a day. We use a lot of consumable materials and additional funding would enable all my students to add breadth and depth to their work. North Carolina is 46th in the country when it comes to per student funding, my classroom budget has decreased by approx 30% for the last three years and I may lose an additional 10% this year. The Arts are so important and fundamental to a well rounded education, visual art is one of the few subjects where students can truly show their creativity and self expression. Please support the difference an art education makes. We would be happy to donate art work to people who adopt us a way of saying thank you.

Hello I'm an SED Teacher in which I teach students with special needs. I teach 6th, 7th, & 8th graders. My students are underprivileged and often have difficulty with getting the supplies in which they need for school in order to accomplish their goals. My students are eager to learn.
