I am so excited to teach and learn with my new students! I teach at a small school in rural Northwestern North Dakota. There are 15 terrific second and third graders in my combination class this year. Our area is quite remote so we have come to rely upon technology to keep us up-to-date and connected to our world. We are currently in the process of attempting to upgrade our schools computers and equipment. My goal is to purchase subscriptions/memberships to educational websites. This would provide my students with additonal & valuable tools to reinforce and enhance their individual skill levels in multiple content areas. My hope is that my students parents will utilize these tools to also help their children reinforce skills at home. As a teacher, I make every effort to team with parents in an effort to provide the most effective learning opportunities available to their children. I believe gaining access to current technology is key to my goals. I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and I sincerely THANK YOU for caring about the education of children. I believe working together we WILL make a difference.
