I teach a wide range of students from an applied physics class to and advanced physics class. Our budget has shrunk dramatically the past 5-10 years and we can not buy many science supplies. I do lots of labs so that students can actually see and do and my class sizes have progressively gotten larger. This means I don't have a lot of equipment so we have to either work in large groups (which is not real productive) or I have to split the class with half doing labs and having doing other work which is REALLY hard on me AND the students because it's hard to help when two different activities are occuring.
