I teach Kindergarten in a small town. My students have a wide variety of needs. I am often dealing with first time parents that also need support and guidance. I would like to start a check out program for students and parents. Through funding, materials would be available for students and parents to check out for home use. By doing so, I hope to involve my parents early in their child's school career. I would like to start with book bags, cds, small players and also have learning bags that would be packed with reading and math games.
