I teach in an inner-city preschool. Many of my children come from a single parent home. We are a totally Title 1 funded school. This means that in order to attend or school, the families must qualify for free or reduced lunch. By being able to purchase additional materials for my class, I will be able to have additional resources to meet the needs of my students. I would be able to purchase much needed literacy and math materials for my student's use. In this day and age, so much is expected of our children at such a young age. Many of my parents do not have the resources to be able to give their children the much needed skills at home. That's where prek comes in. We help give ours children the much needed skills and help give the parents ways to help their child. Please help me give my students the very best prek education possible!
