I am fortunate to have a small sized classroom, for once. Most of my school is pretty well off, however in my class of 18 students, I have 5 students (27%) who are considered economically disadvantaged. This does have an impact on the donations of every day school items we need, such as tissues, paper towels, hand sanitizer, expo markers, and more given to the classroom. In addition, these 5 students are typically the ones without a snack. In order to make sure they have one, I sometimes provide the snack to them.
