My teaching assignment this year is Digital Multimedia. Students are required to learn photography, create and enhance images, and use these images in dynamic presentations, commercials and movies. We do not have enough digital cameras, nor do we have a movie camera for the classes. In addition to Multimedia, I am also in charge of the Yearbook. The small digital camera we have is a point and shoot camera. We are not able to zoom in or out and the subjects have to be still. This is very difficult when we must take pictures of sports, cheerleaders, or one-act plays. A donation will help us purchase at least 10 digital cameras, 5 memory card/USB readers, and perhaps a movie camera.
